2015 American Bee Research Conference and AIA Annual Meeting

Call for Abstracts:
The American Association of Professional Apiculturists (AAPA) will conduct the 2015 American Bee Research Conference (ABRC) at the Junior League of Tuscon facility in Tucson, AZ, on January 22 & 23, 2015.
All apiculture specialists and apiculture students are invited to attend and present papers at this conference. Our meeting will be held together with the annual meeting of the Apiary Inspectors of America (AIA).
Registration fee is $100.00 and can be paid online via PayPal (below) or in person. Those registered for ABRC 2015 who would like to attend the AIA meeting and a tour of the Tucson USDA Lab on the morning of the 21st can do so at no additional cost.
Presentations and abstracts are restricted to research involving the genus Apis. Send titles, author list, and institutional addresses for presentations by email to Jennifer Tsuruda (firstname.lastname@example.org). Talk submission is now closed.

Talks will be 15-20 minutes long, depending on total number submitted.
Presenters will be notified of talk length soon after the January 9th deadline.
Please encourage students to present, as there is a student competition and this is a friendly group of researchers who will have great questions and provide constructive comments.
Note: you need to be an AAPA member in good standing in order to present at the ABRC. Please see below or go to the membership page to join/renew ($15/yr).
Students note: If you want to participate in the student oral and poster competitions, please let us know in the abstract submission email so that we can put you in the correct session.

Airport Shuttle: Unfortunately, neither hotel offers an airport shuttle, but Arizona Stagecoach is the airport’s largest shuttle provider and they have a counter in the baggage claim area.
