We are happy to welcome Dr. Geraldine Wright as our keynote speaker. She will be speaking Friday morning (January 8, 2016) about the “Impact of neonicotinoid pesticides on the behaviour, learning, and memory of bees”.

Registration, Lodging and Meeting information:
The American Association of Professional Apiculturists (AAPA) will conduct the 2016 American Bee Research Conference (ABRC) at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa in Ponte Verde Beach, FL on January 8-9, 2016.
All apiculture specialists and apiculture students are invited to attend and present papers at this conference. Our meeting will be held together with the annual meeting of the Apiary Inspectors of America (AIA) and in conjunction with the 2016 American Beekeeping Federation Conference and Trade Show.
Pre-Registration fee is $100.00 and can be paid online via PayPal (below). On-site registration will be $125.00.
Those registered for ABRC 2016 who would like to attend the AIA meeting and ABF Conference can do so at no additional cost.
Presentations and abstracts are restricted to research involving the genus Apis.
Abstract deadine: No later than November 1, 2015. This is a strict deadline and earlier than usual because we will be including the ABRC agenda in the ABF program.

Talks will be 15 min in length.

Business meeting: A joint business meeting of AAPA, AIA, CAPA will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2015 in Room Tournament A at 2:30 pm. Click here for the meeting agenda.
